It's Officially the Holiday Season

I love this time of year. All sort of cute fall decor is put out and Christmas decorations are hitting the floor.

Yesterday, we were at our favorite orchard and while I resisted many many items this trip, I did not try to resist my little acorn people with their very special friend.

My husband says the one squirrel is larger, because he ate the cookies.

I think they are the cutest!

This monring I ran out of cookies for my squirrels, so I ran to the dollar store. I wanted to replace some bowls anyway. Well, I can't pass an isle filled with Christmas stuff if you paid me, to. I bought my first ornaments of the year - I have a thing for snowmen. So, I nabbed a sitter snowman and a Santa, another snowman and a cute Santa.

Aren't they a great start to the season?

Healing Portion

When I first inhaled the wonderful scent of the Jewel of the Sun candle, my first reaction was this had to be made into a men's body wash. It's clean woodsy and spice scent is a real turn-on.

I mentioned it to Jfay who designs my fabulous candles, and she's heard it so many times. So, she took the plunge and turned a few signature scents into perfumes. I'm so honored to have mine as part of the collection.

Last Glass of Wine Candle

Jfay came through for me in the most amazing way. The favorite wine of Last Glass of Wine is Pinot Noir. I really love this wine because it's both lighter and sweeter than other red wines. However, she didn't have this scent on her list. She had white wines and champagne. I was willing to settle, but she came back with yet another new scent not on the list. Merlot.

I was so excited and at the same time, hesitant about the strength of the scent and if it would become tiresome. I threw caution to the wind.

The merlot scented candle sits in my living room and my concerns were unfounded. The scent permeates the air occasionally, catching you off guard. It's very pleasing. And there's not been one complaint about the alcoholic scent.

While the drip design isn't what you'd see in Rogan's Steakhouse, it's very fitting to Le Man's Pizza and Pasta, an Italian restaurant important to Cole and Lana. You'll have to read the story to find out why.

Erotic Passions Candle

Jfay does amazing work. When I asked her to design a candle for A Psychic Hitch and suggested a couple of scents, she came back with one scent that she'd just received a sample of. When she told me of the Spicy Cherry with a hint of cinnamon and cloves, I melted and my breath hitched. You see, most candle scents play havoc with my allergies. I said yes anyway.

The scent along with her design had to be amazing. She suggested flowers for the photo and I asked for the Stargazer Lily as it's used in the story.

OMG!

You would not believe how fabulous the candle scent is. It's an aphrodisiac without being lit. I have it in my bedroom and at different times it smells like the Tootsie Pop Cherry lollipops and other times you get the cinnamon and cloves.

It's totally amazing and I've found no one who doesn't love the scent. And no allergy issues.
